Love Handle Exercises – Side Bends Aren’t The Answer
There are many web sites and articles out there that promise to reveal how to shed fat from your love handles. Fact is, the majority is useless. Usually setup to try and sell you some expensive equipment or diet pills.
The side bend is the usual suspect in the exercise for love handles category. Grab a broom handle and hold it high, then bend from side to side. I wish! You can do side bends all you like but they won’t work.
The fact they won’t work is that targeting one particular area to lose weight from is nigh on impossible. You’ll get a lot of know it alls telling you they do indeed work. They do work, but only if you do them with a whole all round system and not just “spot” training.
Doing side bends as part of an all round workout will definitely get you success. If you have a healthy diet as well as a good workout system you will see far better results. It’s a simple fact. Burn more energy than you consume to lose weight.
Energy consumption simply means what you eat. Burning energy off is done simply by activity or exercise. Exercise can be any form of activity that burns calories.
Any of these will do … Swimming, jogging, cycling, walking, and making love even! Any type of exercise is good for you. No exercise is bad for you. The reason a lot of us are overweight is we eat food that is stuffed with calories. Then we fail to burn those calories off.
You can do love handle exercises for ever and a day but ignore other areas and you will end up back at square one. If you are a naturally lazy person (like me) then swimming is probably your best all round exercise. If you have access to a pool, use it. The benefits are immense.
I dislike jogging and the like. I see no reason to pay for a slim figure with wrecked knee joints. I believe the guy who brought us jogging keeled over and died while out jogging. His body being found by two smokers passing by. There’s irony for ya!
If it’s time you took action on your weight & lifestyle you need to get an all round system that you can work with. Not some new fangled diet that won’t work but a system that will work long term and is gentle enough for you to keep at it. Read a review of the top five systems that are available today by following this link …

Can’t Lose Weight? It Doesn’t Have To Be Like This
Do you believe you can’t lose weight? Have you got a particular reason you can’t lose that excess fat? Sadly the majority of people who want to lose weight get it in their heads that they simply can’t lose weight. That there’s a magical force stopping them from losing weight.
The sad fact is that secretly they don’t want to lose weight at all. They would be content to just carry on living as they are now. Openly though, they will still claim to want to lose weight but can’t seem to manage it.
Losing weight is no big deal. It’s a mathematical equation, pure and simple. You need to burn off more calories than you eat. If we eat more than we burn off we get fat. Period.
The other perspective is that you will lose weight if you burn off more than you eat. And herein lies the problem. Today’s average diet is so calorie laden it’s a joke. If you actually measured out the right amount of calorific intake that you should have each day you’ll give yourself a heart attack.
Let’s look at a simple example, side bends as an exercise for love handles. You can lose weight by doing these, lots of these. However, how many you have to do is hard to guess. You have to calculate how many calories you are burning to balance the scales.
You can take in a whole days calories in one meal. Easily! Of course the big culprit is fast food. Even the savoury stuff can be laced with sugar. Eating sugar will make you hungry again much quicker.
Almost everything we eat gets changed into a simple form of sugar called glucose by the body. You can start to feel hungry again quite quickly after eating sugary foods as they get used up by the body very quickly. There’s a lot of people think our sugar reliant diets is no accident. A western world conspiracy to get us eating (and spending) more.
The more food we eat, the more money we spend, the more big industry gets rich. A simple formula for the big corporations to get rich. What’s the easiest way to get us to eat more? Add sugar to everything.
Kinda like in a bar when there’s peanuts on the bar so you eat the salt, get thirsty and drink more. To finish off, you should lose some weight if you burn off more calories than you take in. Can you do this on your own? I doubt it as the western worlds collective willpower is on the floor.
What you need is a hand holding system to help you. A system that will guarantee you drop those unwanted pounds if you follow the rules. If you think you’ve tried everything and still can’t lose weight. Consider trying a product with a whole new approach.

Love Handle Exercises – Side Bends Won’t Work
Do any search on the net and you’ll hit a million websites that will promise to strip that fat from your love handles. Fact is, the majority is useless. It’s usually geared to selling you some pills or equipment.
The usual suspect in the exercise for love handles category is the good old side bend. You hold something above your head, usually a broom handle or stick and then lean or bend left, then right. Then repeat, repeatedly. Get real! You can do side bends all you like but they won’t work.
They rarely work because you are trying to target just one small area. This is very difficult if not impossible. You’ll get a lot of know it alls telling you they do indeed work. They will work if you incorporate them with an all round system.
If you do side bends as part of a thorough workout then they will work. If your workout is also part of an all round system you could double your results. The fact is, to lose weight (or fat) you need to burn more energy than you consume.
Energy consumption simply means what you eat. To burn energy off you simply have to do something that is active. Exercise usually. You can burn energy off (exercise) with any form of activity.
Could be any of these…walking, sex, swimming, jogging or even err … sex again! Any type of exercise is good for you. No exercise is bad for you. The reason why people are getting fatter is they don’t burn off the calories that they eat.
Doing exercise for love handles will not work unless you have an all round workout. I’m a naturally lazy person so I tend to go swimming a lot. It’s a great non impact all round exercise. If you can get to a swimming pool you should. It’s gentle and has great benefits for you.
I hate jogging and see no benefit in killing your knees every day. You may need them in later life! You know the guy who made jogging famous collapsed and died while out jogging? His body being found by two smokers passing by. There’s irony for ya!
If you think it’s time you took your health & weight serious then you can help yourself by getting a good all round system. Not some new fancy fad diet but a solid system that’s proven to work and isn’t too harsh as to turn you off completely. I’ve reviewed the (probably) best five methods out there at this website…

Exercise For Love Handles – Does It Hurt Bad?
Exercise for love handles, is it painful? Depends on what you do. It doesn’t have to be painful.
Love handles are those horrid looking lumps of fat hanging off most adults sides, at about the waist level. Why they are called ‘love handles’ is beyond me. There’s no love there!
The correct term for them is ‘obliques’, as they are at an angle to our bodies. The term oblique means slanting, or at an angle.
Now, most advice for anything in the fitness or weight loss niche will start with all the same crap of eat healthy, balanced diet and exercise.
We are well aware of all that advice but we need an easy way without any real work, is it possible?
Yes, you could do it. You could eat as you are now but it will take an almost Herculean effort to manage it.
The biggest hurdle you face is that while you exercise for love handles, you only rid yourself of yesterday’s fat. Today’s fat is making it’s way to love handle central.
If, and I say then tentatively, if you were to cut the crap food out you will find you can do far less exercise to maintain a great body.
It’s about compromise. How much do you really want to lose those love handles? Is it enough to make a change to your lifestyle?
Or will you choose to work much harder and still enjoy all the junk foods you do now. That one is up to you.
A popular exercise for love handles is side bends. You may need to do a few hundred a day to maintain your love handles and your current diet. Or only do a few dozen to keep the love handles flat if you make the lifestyle change.
You can see from the above example how it’s a trade off. Eating junk means more exercise, eating better means less exercise.
As a person, I’m lazy. I try to eat the best options, this way it keeps the exercise to a minimum. I still exercise for love handles but only to stop them appearing again.
In conclusion, you will get pain if you have to do loads of exercise for your love handles. If you can change you eating habits you can manage with far less exercise.
