Lose 10 Pounds FAST by Juicing
Lose 10 Pounds FAST by Juicing
Want to lose 10 pounds in a hurry? Juice your way to a trimmer, slimmer figure while feeding yourself fresh antioxidants and fiber. You can’t get the high nutritional value of raw juice from the store bought ones as these juices are cooked before being bottled.
Getting a head start on dropping weight can be frustrating but adding fresh juices to your routine can show stunning results in a short time period. Using a high powered blender keeps the fiber in your juice, fills you up quickly and helps you stay more full longer. Salads can get boring but we all know how good they are for losing weight so what’s the compromise? How about trying a leafy greens, cucumber and celery drink? Want variety in flavor? Add ginger root or garlic slivers to your juices for even more antioxidant benefits.
Losing 10 pounds fast by juicing is as tasty as it is practical. Using a powerful juice to replace a meal will add pure vitamins and minerals to your body, help remove toxins from tissues, when drinking 64 ounces of water (just 4 water bottles) a day and will boost the benefits of the fiber, giving you more energy through out the day. By using a high powered blender for juicing there are fewer parts to clean up and nothing to throw away.
Using a centrifugal or auger juicier gives you the clear liquid which is preferred for fasting or when you’re sick and adds to your compost pile but is a pain for everyday juicing clean up. Most high powered blenders hold enough juice for three or four people, usually 8 ounces per person, so the whole family can get a boost to their dietary needs.
Most juicing gurus say not to mix fruits and vegetable juices together but the exceptions, traditionally, are apples and carrots; they go with everything. Each fruit or vegetable has certain properties that improve bodily functions, such as celery and cucumbers are natural diuretics while parsley and plums are good for regularity. Blueberries and cherries are great for a morning pick-me-up , replacing the caffeine high-and-crash of coffee. You can cut the sweetness of the fruit juice with iced green tea for those of us who want to keep some caffeine in our morning.
You CAN lose 10 pounds more quickly by juicing but as with any new dietary change, check with a nutritionalist or family doctor before starting. This way every one is on the same page regarding your health care needs and there are no unwanted surprises. You health care provider can track your progress with you and suggest more or less fruits and vegetables to be used for optimal results.
Juicing has been around so long because of its health benefits of adding pure minerals and vitamins into the body. What fruits and vegetables do you like the most? Juice them.
Lose 10 Pounds With Fun Fiber Foods
Lose 10 Pounds With Fun Fiber Foods
Lose 10 pounds by eating fun fiber foods that taste good and improve your over all health. There are so many ways to get the fiber your body needs without sacrificing flavor. Most people think adding fiber to their diet means eating dry bran muffins but there are many simple foods with fiber in them.
By having a bowl of steel-cut oats oatmeal in the morning gives you 3.9 grams of fiber per 3/4 cup. Add half a cup of blueberries and you have an additional 2 grams of fiber plus a high dose of antioxidants.
The recommended amount of daily fiber is 20-35 grams. This sounds like a lot of rabbit food to eat but it all adds up quickly. Dietary fiber is either soluble or insoluble. This means that if it’s soluble, it will become gel-like in your intestines, which is a good thing. It removes cholesterol and keeps it and saturated fats from getting absorbed into your bloodstream.
Insoluble fiber fills you up quickly, keeps hunger at bay longer, regulates blood sugar more evenly and keeps you “regular”, especially if you add more water to your eating habits. Not only does added fiber help the weight come off more quickly but it can add years to your life by protecting you from colon cancer and other intestinal diseases. Fiber also helps the heart by clearing out bad cholesterol which lowers your risk of heart attacks, strokes and high blood pressure.
Lose those 10 pounds by adding these fun fiber foods to your salads: blueberries, dried cherries, pine nuts, artichoke hearts, dried figs, dry roasted mixed nuts or pumpkin seeds.
These all have over 3.9 grams (up to 7.4 grams) of fiber per serving. One serving of dried figs is 3. Three dried figs have 5.2 grams of fiber so by munching on 9 of them, say as a snack or in a bulgar salad, you just ate 15.6 grams. That was easy! Two cups of fresh blackberries for dessert put 14.4 grams of fiber into you.
You see, those fiber grams add up quickly and they taste good. Make a spinach salad for lunch or dinner and in just one cup of plain baby spinach you have 7 grams of fiber. Add some carrots, radishes, artichoke hearts and celery and you have almost a full day’s recommended amount of fiber.
Lose 10 pounds with fun fiber foods and watch how much better you feel. The more whole grains, fruits, legumes, vegetables and nuts you eat the faster those pounds will fall off of you. Your heart will get stronger, you’ll be more “regular”, your intestines will be protected from diseases and you’ll be doing all this while having a happy mouth.
Healthy Eating – Becoming Healthy Eater
Healthy Eating
So You Want To Become A Healthy Eater? Read What Healthy Eating Really Is.
When you have enough of all the fad diets and miracle pills that do not work and realize that there is much more to weight loss plan then a weight loss diet program by itself.
First you would need to change you bad eating habits to a healthy eating habits. Now that requires some smart and well educated decisions about it.
Only then you can really understand what healthy eating really is and what it is not.
It’s not much about what food you can eat and what food you can’t eat. It’s not about calorie counting or other point systems many diets programs follow.
What you need to get i sthat healthy eating is all about having balanced nutritious meals at least three times per day (and that is a minimum).
You should be eating many different types of foods, not limiting yourself to one particular food type or food group and removing others from your menu list.
Imaging you follow let’s say Atkins Diet. Imagine that they tell you that Atkins Diet is really the healthy eating you can follow for the rest of your life.
They will put you on diet that will lack a lot of good carbs. Now carbs are needed for your brain to function properly and a great energy source.
So when you remove carbs, you will become cranky, you will have tough time concentrating and you would feel sleepy the whole day! Now you tell me if that is healthy eating or “un-healthy” eating.
And I do not want to pick on Atkins Diet Plan, but you should not restrict yourself when it comes down to healthy eating! And many Fad Diets will just do that.
Healthy eating is a way of life, it is not something that you go on for period of time. It is something you do and live every single day. Again fad diets fall short on the lifestyle promise, because no one can follow diet for long period of time.
Thus weight loss diets can not become part of your lifestyle.
So if you are ready to make a change in your health, energy levels or any other lifestyle enhancing activity, healthy eating is a great place to start!
Good luck and all the best in achieving great wellness,
Brett Slansky

Do You Still Think That Diet Is The Same Thing
As A Healthy Eating?
Do you? Well I hope that information on this page will change your mind very quickly. Because diet and healthy eating habits are just two completely different things.
So what is a diet?
Diet is a simply stated a way of eating! Diet is not something you go to lose weight as many people believe. And I do not blame them. The media used the word “Diet” and made it as a synonymum for “losing weight” - and I am here to challenge the media, expert authors or whoever tries to convince you that you will lose weight on a diet.
Now, what is your diet? Well, take a pen and paper right now! Go and take a look inside your fridge and write down what do you see.
Do you see fresh fruits, vegetables, lean chicken breasts, fish etc…? Or
do you see cans of fruits, frozen vegetables, burgers, sausages and a piece of McDonald Cheeseburger from your last lunch?
Think about what you have just done for a moment.
Now. Conclude your own resolution. Is it healthy eating what you are doing? Or is it not healthy eating, based on what you saw in your refridgerator?
Now, which one is a diet? Clue: Both!
One is good diet, or “healthy eating diet”. The second one is what I call “junk diet” and it is not healthy, but it is a form of a diet!
So all you have to do is change your healthy eating habits! And your own body will do all the rest by itself. No need to count your calories, remove certain foods from your diet or taking some “miracle weight loss pill”.
What Is Healthy Eating?
I am glad you asked!
Healthy eating is a simply balanced diet which includes all the nutrients necessary for your body to function at your maximum best potential.
Healthy eating will consist of consuming protein, healthy carbs, fiber and pytonutrient rich fruits or vegetables. When all mixed together, your plate will look nice and fresh. The best part of this healthy eating habits is that you will be eating foods you normally eat anyway. But this time we will change it a bit.
I hope you got the basic idea I am trying to get inside your head. It is a “secret” many gurus will not tell you (because they will be not able to sell you on somethig, losing your money…psssst I did not tell you this, ok?)…
Inside this blog, you will get many ideas about healthy eating, what are the good carbs and bad carbs, healthy recipes etc…
So if you really want to change you eating habits, burn fat like never before – I urge you to visit this Stop Dieting Bootcamp very often. The easiest way would be to submit to my RSS feeds…Just a suggestion
